This is a blog, so you’re going to get more of my take than with a traditional article (Most bloggers won’t admit that). That’s why, despite having a Journalism degree, I do NOT classify myself as a journalist. You know, ethics and all. It’s a novel concept, I know.

That being said, let me just preface this story by saying that if you go by an alternate set of pronouns than what your biological gender is, just know that I don’t care. I’m sorry, I don’t. If I ever use the “wrong pronouns,” just know it’s not malicious. I just have eyes and will assume what your pronouns are — what they actually are based on reality, not some delusion.

For all the lefty publications that will castigate me for what I just said, let me reiterate — I don’t care about someone’s pronouns. My pronouns might as well be, ‘I don’t care/get a life.’ In the grand scheme of the journey that is life, it’s just not important enough to force me to lie.

Now that we have that out of the way, let’s get to the story you clicked on to read.

A mother, Jenna Longoria, claims she was kicked off a United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Austin over using the “wrong pronoun for a flight attendant,” as reported by Daily Mail.

Longoria reportedly said the following in a post to social media:

“I will tell you what happened now. I got one of the flight attendant’s pronouns wrong and the other flight attendant didn’t like it.

I said, ‘I’m really sorry, I’m not very versed in pronouns,’ I was holding my son. He was having a temper tantrum. I had the car seat on my back.

I wasn’t really focusing on anything except getting my son’s car seat on the plane and getting him comfortable.”

Okay, so now that we’ve heard Longoria’s side of the story, let’s see what United had to say about the incident:

In the clip, she can be seen talking to a United staff member who informs her it was the captain's decision to deny her from the flight for 'what came out of your mouth.'

The employee also tells her 'there was some more that I heard', beyond the pronoun error.[…]

'A party of three traveling out of San Francisco today was not allowed to board following a discussion about having too many carry-on items,' the [United] spokesperson said.

So who do we believe here? When it comes to woke BS, a giant company like United will never outwardly admit wrongdoing or what really happened. Their answer will be politically correct. We get that. It’s customary at this point.

However, can we automatically believe Longoria when she says the pronoun issue what the only reason she was kicked off the flight? Or, is there more to the story then she wants to admit?

With how woke big companies have become, possibly to help their ESG standing, it’s not out of the realm that an employee would be a total Karen and “not feel safe” when being “misgendered.”

While I am completely against the whole pronoun edict, I’m leaving it up to you — the reader — to make up your own mind as to who is in the right and who is not. Again, novel idea. I know.
