I've stated this before, but it bears repeating. I know from dealing with these people over the past nine years, that a strong portion of leftist activists are stupid, if not mentally ill. They simply don't understand reality or don't want to, and they have absolutely no problem lying to attempt and get their way.
A throng of dozens of protesters - yes, that was sarcasm - gathered at Franklin Park in Washington D.C. on Friday and Sunday, according to News2Share, in order to call on Congress to illegally block President-elect Donald Trump from being certified as the 47th President of the United States.
"We've all gathered here today for the same reason; to demand that Congress uphold the 14th Amendment of the United States Constitution, specifically Section 3, that states that an insurrectionist cannot be president," a man identified as comedian Cliff Cash said. "And if you have any doubt that this guy [Trump] is an insurrectionist, you should come out of the cave that you live in and get a supercomputer in your pocket like we all have, cause the information is out there and it's undeniable."
Cash is right. It is undeniable. It's undeniable that not one person the Justice Department has charged in the events of January 6, 2021 has been charged with "insurrection." Even the U.K. state-run BBC has had to admit that Trump has never been charged with "insurrection." So that too is "undeniable."
Maybe Cash should curb his smugness and learn a thing or two about facts and the truth. Oh, and by the way, Cash is still pushing that the Russians colluded through online "bot farms" to help Trump win the 2024 Election. Russia, Russia, Russia. Maybe Cash could turn MSNBC's Rachel Maddow straight. Doubt it, but it'd be funny.

Another little snippet from News2Share's reporting on the protest is the humorous plight of an activist only identified as "Michael." Are we all ready to point and laugh at "Michael?" Check this out.
"When Trump won – my wife is MAGA – I divorced my wife, I quit my job,” Michael said. “At my age 66, if need be, I will give my life to do what I can to save this country."
Some might say that "Michael" did his wife a favor.
