Possibly nobody has had his work debunked more than documentary director Michael Moore. The man is the definition of a walking narrative builder. So, it should come as no surprise that Moore added to his collection of follies during a recent appearance on MSDNC…er, MSNBC.
Moore actually wants Jewish people to target who he thinks is their real enemy — white Christians. No, that’s not a joke.
The propagandist says that it’s “white European-centric Christians” that have persecuted Jews for the last 2,000 years, not the Palestinians. Forget the fact that it was Palestinians, in the name of Hamas, that have regularly attacked Jews, particularly in recent decades.
For the sake of context, here’s what Moore had to say:
According to my knowledge of history, the enemies of Israel, who have been persecuted, the Israelis, the Jewish people of this world have been persecuted for 5,000 years. But for the last 2,000 years, most of the persecution has come from white European-centric Christians. That’s been your enemy.
No Palestinian helped to build Auschwitz. No Palestinian stood on the docks of New York City when boatloads of Jewish refugees tried to escape the Holocaust, came here to be protected by this country and were turned away at the docks in New York and sent back to Germany to die. No Palestinian did that. No Palestinian ran the Spanish Inquisition.
Your enemy is not the Palestinian people. It is white Christian European people who have been slaughtering Jews for the last 2,000 years. Let’s just call it for what it is. Why are they in an open air prison? Why are two million of them in an open air prison?

First of all, while there were millions of Jews horrifically killed in the Holocaust, people forget about the millions of Christians that were also killed by the, in reality, atheistic Adolf Hitler and his regime.
Second, when the U.S. government turned away Jews at the docks in New York City, who was it that was president at the time? Oh, that’s right — Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a Democrat. According to Smithsonian Magazine, FDR “himself argued that refugees posed a serious threat to national security.”
As far as the Spanish Inquisition goes, while Jews were included in the conflict, Spain was attempting to preserve the predominantly Christian base of the country from years of conquest by the Moors, or Muslims as we would call them today.
Also, Moore alludes to two million Palestinians being in “an open air prison,” which ironically the locals would call Palestinian land. It’s not the fault of “white European-centric Christians” that bordering countries, like Egypt and Jordan, don’t want them on their land, either.
I wouldn’t say that Michael Moore is a ‘Moore-on” (get it?). I would say that Moore is a propagandist creating false narratives to some nefarious end in order to line his own pockets. Just ask the people of Flint, Michigan.
