This has gotta be a coincidence, right? There’s definitely no conflict of interest going on with the legal proceedings in New York City against former President Donald Trump, right? Right? Um, right?
If it is ‘just a coincidence,’ then someone’s ‘got some ‘splaining to do.’
Remember how a lot of people were questioning Judge Juan Merchan, the judge presiding over the case against Trump in New York City where he was found guilty on 34 counts of…well, we’re still not sure, and his possible conflict of interest in the case because his daughter, Loren, allegedly is a Democrat fundraiser?
Weeeeeellll, there’s this.
Loren Merchan is the President of an organization called Authentic, who claims they’re “an award-winning digital marketing agency that campaigns and non-profits trust to help change the world.”
This is verifiable, not only from this Viva Frei tweet of her from the company’s website displaying her as the president but also from a letter sent by the House Judiciary Committee to “Loren Merchan, President, Authentic Campaigns Inc." on August 1, 2024.
In the letter, the committee identifies Loren Merchan as the judge’s daughter by writing, “Judge Merchan, your father…” The letter, for context, questions the conflict of interest mentioned above.

“Experts have raised substantial concerns with Judge Merchan, your father, refusing to recuse himself from President Trump’s case despite your work on behalf of President Trump’s political adversaries and the financial benefit that your firm, Authentic Campaigns Inc., could receive from the prosecution and conviction,” the letter states. “Accordingly, as the Committee continues its oversight, we believe you possess records that will inform legislative reforms to address the weaponization of judicial system.”
But, what really cements the conflict of interest storyline is Authentic’s printing of its full client list. The very top of that list? “Kamala Harris for President.”
The list also includes Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs (D), Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D), California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and, of course, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D).
Here’s a screenshot of Authentic’s full client list, just in case they decide to memory hole it in the future:
Oh, and Authentic's X account? Yeah, it's "posts are protected" from all "non-approved followers."
I’m not saying there’s any collusion going on here, but I’m not not saying there’s any collusion going on here.
