Listen, I know that some of you don’t like the foul language I use on occasion. But, sometimes perception is reality. That being said, MSNBC’s Joy Reid is an a**hole (yes, women can be those, too). Whether she just says what she says because she’s paid to say it, or she says the garbage she spews because she actually believes it, she’s an a**hole.
Her latest foray into the realm of a**holiness (it’s my new word, you all can use it) came in a post to social media in which she actually suggested that the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump was staged. She questions whether Trump was shot in the ear, if what hit his ear was glass from the teleprompter or if it was “shrapnel.”
Shrapnel from what, you dolt? I think these people think that bullets explode on impact. I also don’t think they know that there are different calibers of bullets that have different levels of performance.
“We know almost nothing,” Reid said while wearing a black Superman shirt. “Why don’t we know that much?”
Reid actually brings up a pretty good point, shockingly, but has different feelings as to why these things happened the way they did — staging the whole thing — instead of the more cogent reasoning of whether or not there were more people or groups in on the plot to kill Trump.
“We don’t know why, for nine full seconds, Donald Trump was allowed to stand back up during an active shooting, an active shooter situation, even though they at that point had said the shooter was down. How would they have known if there were more shooters or not? Nobody knew that there could’ve been five shooters for all they knew. Yet, they allowed him to stand up in the middle of that, you know, crisis and pose for a photo and fist pump the air so he could get the iconic photo.”

So, as I mentioned a minute ago, Reid brings up a good point. How did they know so quickly that the incident was over after neutralizing the shooter? There very well could have been more people involved, including other shooters. Thankfully, there wasn’t. But, that is pretty convenient.
The difference between “sides” at this point seems to be that the left is dead-set on proving this whole attempt on Trump’s life was staged and is a hoax. For some of their counterparts, the thinking, perceivably, is that there might’ve been — and still could be — some kind of deep state plot to kill the former president. And yet, a third perception is simply what happened — Trump was shot by a lone gunman, while another man was murdered by another shot from said gunman.

It seems as though people like Reid take glee in either pushing a conspiracy theory that the whole incident was staged, or are upset that the shooter wasn’t successful in his attempt.
Where Reid loses any credibility she might’ve possibly had in her argument is questioning the validity of the injury to Trump’s ear.
“What is the actual injury to Donald Trump’s ear that’s under that bandage?” Reid posited. “Shouldn’t we know that by now? It’s weird, and there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of curiosity about it.”
Yeah, you know why? Because curiosity goes out the window when you realize that Trump was clearly shot in the ear.
Everything Reid does it for clicks, or at least it seems that way with some of the inciting, deranged and racist language she uses on a daily basis. As I said in my Things That Need To Be Said video this week, there’s no reason to give any weight to anything people in Reid’s field, and brand of “news,” say anymore. They’ve cried wolf so many times that their words mean absolutely nothing.
