For those of you who know and just get it, whatever “it” is, you know that Tom Homan doesn’t mess around or sugarcoat anything because someone might have delicate feelings. And when it comes to the Mexican cartels, it seems as though Homan is cherishing the chance to go after the ruthless murderers and human traffickers plaguing the U.S.
Homan, who has been tapped by President-elect Donald Trump to be the new “border czar,” spoke to NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo Wednesday evening and the pair spoke about many things related to the border, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol.
It was when Cuomo asked Homan about the Mexican cartels, their effect on the U.S., and how the upcoming Donald Trump administration plans to deal with them.
Cuomo spoke about how the new Mexican president, Claudia Sheinbaum, is reportedly “against the idea of taking on the cartels” and then asked Homan about the legality of designating the cartels as domestic terrorist organizations.
Homan’s response was unequivocal.

“Ever since I gave the speech at the RNC, I’ve had numerous death threats from the cartels against me and my family. Matter of fact, my family isn’t with me right now because of the death threats,” Homan said. “President Trump has promised that he would designate them terrorist organizations. I believe he should, and he will."

It’s way past time to snuff out these cartels for the monsters they are, and God willing, they will be judged sooner than later.
