Remember when President Donald Trump called out wasteful spending during his speech to the Joint Session of Congress and made a point to call out two-time failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams?

Well, that wasteful spending appears to have been nixed by the new head of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Lee Zeldin.

“I have terminated the $2 BILLION Biden EPA grant to this Stacey Abrams-linked NGO,” Zeldin wrote in a post on X. “The DOJ/FBI are investigating and the money has been frozen. It is insane that the Biden Admin would give $2B to an organization that previously only received $100!”

Zeldin’s post was in response to a “Truth” by Trump on Truth Social concerning the same issue.

According to Newsmax:

The EPA announced on March 20 that it had notified several organizations it was canceling grants approved in what the agency dubbed "the Biden-Harris administration's $20 billion gold bar scheme.”

The organization in question with ties to Abrams is called Power Forward Communities. According to their website, the group allegedly “is the first national program to finance home energy efficiency upgrades at scale, saving Americans thousands of dollars on their utility bills every year.”
