I’m not an Elon Musk “superfan” or anything. I’m a bit more reasonable. There are things I like and/or admire about what he does, and there are certain things that I question. But one thing I can respect about the man is that he will tell you the unvarnished truth, because he’s the richest man in the world. What does he care what anyone thinks?

Musk sat down with Fox News’ Bret Baier, and the topic of funding for Ukraine’s conflict with Russia came up. Baier asked Musk about the fact that there are still some Republicans who think we should just keep the bank open to Ukraine, regardless of the circumstances surrounding the conflict.

Musk had a different opinion.

“The thing we should be concerned about is we should have empathy for the thousands of people that are dying every day in the trenches for no movement in the lines,” Musk said. “The border’s remained the same for the past two years. Thousands of people have died…every week for nothing. For what?”

The Tesla founder then got candid about how he feels about those who want the war to continue simply because ‘Russia bad.’

“I take great offense at those who put the appearance of goodness over the reality of it, those who virtue signal and say, ‘Oh, we can’t give in to Russia,’ but have no solution to stopping thousands of kids dying every day. They just want that to continue forever. I have contempt for such people, and I want to make that clear. Because they’re virtue signaling and their lack of a solution means that kids don’t have a father, it means that parents lost a son. For what? Nothing.”

Whatever your opinion might be about the Ukraine/Russia conflict, you have admit that Musk has a point. What is the point of endless war? Where are the solutions to the alleged problems? Why is no one concerned with the hundreds of thousands of people, on both sides, that have already lost their lives for a cause they possibly don’t completely understand?

In this instance, Elon Musk sounds like the voice of reason.
