Detroit Pastor at RNC to Dems: 'You Can't Deny the Power of God on [Trump's] Life'

I’m not an overly “religious” or “spiritual” person. I have a faith that I belong to, the Greek Orthodox Church, and I have faith in God and Jesus Christ. I know that’s not popular to say for some who wish religion and politics to be separate. But, I’m the one writing here, so sorry, not sorry.

During the last day of the Republican National Convention (RNC) on Thursday, Detroit Paster Lorenzo Sewell “Absolutely Brings The House Down,” as put by the Forbes Breaking News channel on YouTube.

Sewell spoke of how former President Donald Trump visited his church on his birthday, and all that he asked for was prayer.

“[If you were Trump], what would you ask for your birthday?” Sewell asked the crowd. “If you could go to Mar-a-Lago, or if you could go to New York, what would you ask for your birthday? He asked for prayer.”

He continued by speaking about how the power of prayer, and belief in God and Jesus Christ, helped save Trump through a miracle during the July 13 assassination attempt on Trump’s life. And then he addressed Democrats back home in Detroit.

“To all my friends back in Detroit who are Democrats, I wanna ask you just one simple question; You can’t deny the power of God on this man’s life,” Sewell stated.

And then Sewell asked, what I believe, was a very profound question, whether you like and support Trump or not.

“Could it be that Jesus Christ preserved him for such a time as this?” Sewell posited.

The answer to that, really, is up to the people. Whether you’re for President Joe Biden or Trump, it doesn’t matter. The question remains if Trump’s life was “preserved” for a greater purpose, presidency or otherwise.
