I’ve said it a million times before: ‘You can’t make this stuff up, folks.’

So the dude — and I say “dude” because instead of man sometimes, because you have to earn enough respect to be called a man — who is trying to impeach President Donald Trump for no actual criminal reason apparently doesn’t even know who he’s representing in Congress.

Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-Mich.) has basically been trying to impeach Trump for the simple personal belief that the American people don’t approve of some of the things the president’s done and is doing. Even fellow Democrats don’t approve of Thanedar’s actions.

Well, Thanedar was confronted by someone asking whether the congressman knew the names of the places he was elected to represent.

The quick answer to that question is no.

“What are the five Grosse Pointe cities?” the man asked Thanedar.

“Well, look, I’m not here to answer a quiz,” Thanedar responded with an awkward chuckle. “I’m here to say that I’m going to fight for the people [pause] of Detroit. I’m going to fight for my constituents.”

The interviewer began naming off different cities, to which Thanedar could only sum up and say, “every part of the 13th District.”

For context, The Post Millennial listed the “municipalities”:

The five municipalities that make up Grosse Pointe, Michigan are: Grosse Pointe Park, Grosse Pointe (City), Grosse Pointe Farms, Grosse Pointe Woods, and Grosse Pointe Shores.

Not being able to name the towns of the people you’re supposed to represent isn’t exactly a good look when you want to be taken seriously.

Try harder, bro.
