Climate Alarmist Calls Farming & Fishing 'Ecocide' at World Economic Forum

Gotta love climate alarmists. Well actually, you don’t. But, they’ve created a religion all to themselves where they literally believe that food just appears and that any type of method that grows food should be a crime. I didn’t misspeak. They actually think that.

Just a look at what this muppet said at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Jojo Metha, the founder of a climate alarmist group called Stop Ecocide Now, was speaking at the elitist event where they tell the rest of us we need to eat bugs while they either eat steak and lobster — or for the vegans, eat vegetables that they think magically appear — when she said that farming and fishing are crimes that equate to a made up term called “ecocide.”

Think genocide, but to the ecosystem.

“Legally speaking, what our organization and other collaborators aim to do, is to have this [ecocide] recognized legally as a serious crime. Because one of the issues that sort of pervades all of this discussion is that we have a kind of cultural, very ingrained habit of not taking damage to nature as seriously as we take damage to people and property.

And that, if you’re campaigning for human rights, at least you know mass murder, torture, all of these things are serious crimes. But there’s no equivalent in the environmental space. Unlike an international crime, like genocide that involves a specific intent, with ecocide what we see is actually what people are trying to do, what businesses are trying to do is make money, is farm, is fish, is do all of these things that are, you know, producing energy and so on, as well. But what’s missing is the awareness and the conscience around the side effects, around the collateral damage that happens with that.”

And what is that? We have more tree coverage on the planet currently than at any time in recent recorded history.

Also, why should we take “ecocide” as seriously as genocide, as “damage to people and property.” You cannot replace an individual. You can replace a carrot. A fish doesn’t have the consciousness that a human has. That’s why we’re the top of the food chain. That’s why there is a food chain — dunce.

If farming and fishing are to be considered “crimes” in the future — ironically determined by people who’ve never worked hard enough to understand the phrase “dirt under your fingernails” — then where do they think their food is going to come from? Are they going genetically manufacture them in labs? And if they do, will they have the same natural nutritional properties that food cultivated through farming or meat grown through animals raised on farms can generate?

You see, I say these people have created their own religion, because they think that in every aspect of life they can replicate or replace the miracles produced truly organically as gifts from God.

In reality, by doing what they do, by suggesting such nonsense as they do, they slap nature — or what God created — in the face.

So to those that think they’re capable of such miracles, you eat the bugs. You take a backseat to the people you look down your elitist noses at, and you figure it out for yourselves without any food grown on any farms, raised by any farmers or fished by any fisherman.
