Some people just can’t bow out gracefully. And now, you can add Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) to the list.
On Wednesday, Romney announced that he will not run for senate again, citing his age and how he would be able to get even less done because of everybody else but himself.
“It’s very difficult for the House to operate, from what I can tell,” Romney said, according to the Washington Examiner. “And perhaps more importantly, we’re probably going to have either Trump or Biden as our next president. And Biden is unable to lead on important matters, and Trump is unwilling to lead on important matters.”
So, he places blame for his prospective inability to get things done on the House of Representatives, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.

Romney expanded on the blame he places on everyone else in a video posted to X, formerly Twitter, where he also encouraged the “new generation of leaders” to take the country to “the next stage of global leadership.”
