While New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) is still a huge lib, he at least has enough awareness as a former cop to understand when a huge problem is something that needs to be taken care of, not placated.
“…cancel me…”
Adams said those words on Tuesday after a reporter questioned his stance of wanting to work with incoming “Border Czar” Tom Homan in determining what they think is going to be the best course of action when it comes to criminal invaders (illegal aliens) who commit subsequent crimes once in the U.S.
“Those who are here committing crimes, robberies, shooting at police officers, raping innocent people, have been a harm to our country, I want to sit down and hear the plan on how we’re going to address them,” Adams said, according to Daily Caller. “Those are the people I am talking about and I would love to sit down with the border czar and hear his thoughts on how we’re going to address those who harm our citizens.”
When Adams was questioned by a reporter who sounded shocked that Adams would want to work with someone in President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming administration, Adams basically told the reporter to do their homework and stop being a hypocrite.
“I want you to go back and google Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama,” Adams continued. “Google what they said about those who commit crime in our city and what they said in our country. They said ‘those who commit crimes need to get out right away.’ That was their position, so this is not a new position.”

In light of all that, Adams went on to say that as long as what he’s doing is helping keep his citizens safe, then he couldn’t care less about “cancel culture.”
“in the era of cancel culture, no one’s afraid to be honest about the truth,” added Adams. “Well, cancel me, because I’m going to protect the people of this city. And if you come into this country and this city and think you’re going to harm innocent New Yorkers and innocent migrants and asylum seekers, this is not the mayor you want to be in the city under.”
Ponder this for a second…until recently, people like Joe Rogan, RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard and Elon Musk were all Democrats. The Democrats complain that they don’t have people like that on “their side.” Well, they did until they became so insane that it drove reasonable people like the ones listed above away.
Think what you want about people not in YOUR political party. But, there are things that reasonable people on every side can agree on. You just need to be open-minded enough to do it.
