I understand that NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley has contemplated running for office in the past, so he feels he has some kind of bonafides as a political commentator. But, when someone sounds like they’re just regurgitating what the establishment, propaganda media has said for years about former President Donald Trump and presents it as fact to that very same media, that’s when you get people saying, ‘Shut up and dribble.’

On his weekly show on CNN with co-host Gayle King, Barkley basically said that Trump is attempting to make Americans afraid of everyone but white people following the former president’s recent comments about illegal immigrants and the politicians that have enable the current invasion of the U.S.

“He, uh, trying to make people fearful of immigrants, black people, Hispanics, Muslims,” Barkley said. “Obviously, we gotta lotta anti-Semitic stuff going on. I would even say against Jewish people, and I think it’s a travesty and a disgrace that he’s able to do that.”

Okay, let’s say — playing devil’s advocate — that Trump was guilty of saying things with the intention of making people feel that way. Unless he’s inciting people to act violently, he’s allowed to say whatever. It’s not a question of whether you find what he said objectionable or not.

Barkley can think it’s a “travesty and disgrace that he’s ABLE to do that” all he wants. It doesn’t remove Trump’s — or anyone else’s for that matter’s — First Amendment right to free speech. So this is a "turrible" take, "knucklehead."

Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) defended Trump “poisoning the blood” comments concerning illegal immigrants.

“It is obvious that he was talking about the very clear fact that the blood of Americans is being poisoned by a drug epidemic,” Vance said, according to Breitbart.
