Americans often use – and rail against – hyperbolic claims that the statements or acts of a politician, or bureaucrat, are Hitlerian or Nazi-like. But, almost as often, these analogies actually are appropriate, and the fact that U.S. citizens either don’t recognize this, or they have become acquiescent to government operating in tyrannical ways, is nearly as frightening.
Thus, in a new, terrifying light, we see this breaking story from Exeter, NH, and the uncritical local TV news coverage of it.
At the Exeter high school prom last weekend, school officials forced actual numbers to be written on the hands of teenaged attendees who did not have “vaccine cards” to prove they had received the experimental mRNA jab against COVID.
Writes veteran WMUR TV, Manchester, reporter Jennifer Crompton:
Unvaccinated teenagers at Exeter High School's prom last week had numbers written on their hands with marker, a practice that drew criticism from some parents.
Why did the tax-eating school bureaucracy adopt this shocking, invasive, Gestapo-like “policy”?
For “contact tracing,” of course.
In an email, school officials said students who were unable to provide a vaccination card had a number written on their hand. Dancing was divided among three dance floors. After every few songs, they were asked to raise their hands to determine who they were around.
So, piled atop the aggressive insanity of forcing childless people to pay for the so-called “education” of other people’s kids, thrown atop the anti-rights insult of dissatisfied parents being forced to shell out cash for public schooling, we see the foolish fear-mongering of COVID-19 fascists who don’t even acknowledge the fact that these jabs are experimental, and that children are at near zero chance of contracting or becoming ill with a virus that already has a survivability rate of 99.97 percent, overall.
Many folks were not numb to this idiocy and tyranny, and some spoke out.
’The prom happened Friday night, and on Saturday, I started receiving messages from parents, constituents,’ said state Rep. Melissa Litchfield, R-Brentwood.
Litchfield said those parents were concerned that children were singled out for not being vaccinated.
We’ll get back to this, on a principled level…
First, let's cover how it gets crazier.
’Underclassmen went around and wrote down the numbers of the children on the dance floor approximately every three songs,’ Litchfield said. ‘Again, this is what I was told by parents -- I was not there -- that they had taken down their numbers and this was for contact tracing.’
And Crompton offers part of the blithe, feel-good "statement" offered by Exeter High Principal Michael Monahan:
We are aware that some concerns have been expressed that students were singled out or had their privacy violated. We made every effort possible -- while adhering to contact tracing guidelines -- to ensure that this did not happen. We hope the community will understand that while no model is perfect, this model let the students enjoy a close to normal and highly desired experience to cap off their senior year. That's the memory we want to leave them with.
Spoken like a true fascist. A little bit of sentimentality. A touch of diversion to “contact tracing guidelines." Voila. Hands washed of it all.
Unless one considers something that WMUR’s Crompton didn’t bother to note, something that was available to Crompton if she had either read all of Rep Litchfield’s message or read a piece by GraniteGrok’s Ann Marie Banfield that had been available a full day prior to Crompton shooting and writing her WMUR report.
Banfield supplied more of Litchfield’s social media post, wherein she quotes one constituent:
...pretty fired up today after learning that kids who weren’t vaccinated had a number written on them in Sharpie at the EHS prom last night. If they were on the dance floor, they had to raise their hands after every three songs so their numbers could be recorded by other underclass students for contact tracing purposes. There’s even more to the story, but this alone is surprising to us. We truly feel they are literally branding our kids if they don’t get this experiential 'emergency' approved vaccine…
And, something that has profound constitutional ramifications:
They also left the list of student names (first and last) with the info on whether they were vaccinated or not on a table outside after the prom. I found it the next morning. This information should 1. Not have been shared, and 2. Should never be left where anyone can have access to it. I have a photo of the list.
This is a clear violation of the privacy principles of the Fourth Amendment.

Curiously, some observers are claiming that it also is a violation of HIPAA, the 1996 federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, which supposedly “protects personal medical privacy.” But, as I have mentioned for MRCTV, HIPAA actually claimed for government the power to collect and share your medical information at any time, contrary to the Fourth Amendment requirement that any government search of a person or belongings MUST first see a judge issue a warrant for the person to be searched and the thing sought.
This is a powerful moment for parents and non-parents to learn about the darkness lurking behind the obnoxious, slick behavior of a tax-fed, government body in the US.
Not only were the students at Exeter treated like victims of a Nazi roundup, their privacy rights were violated by an institution that claims the power to get people’s money without their consent. That final aspect of the government school paradigm ought to be enough to warn people about a problem, because, in the end, government always claims the power to invade privacy (taxing you on value of your home, taxing your income) and to take your liberty (putting you in jail if you keep resisting their demands of your cash), even as it dictates what your kids will “learn.”
How much more fascism and communism do government bodies have to exhibit for folks in America to recognize the collectivism inherent to all such systems, and wake people up to the fact that freedom is the only answer?
Both the trouble in Exeter, NH, and the manner in which the state’s biggest TV station completely overlooked major constitutional issues, are indicative of a deeper problem. The ink on the skin of those poor kids is just the visible image of that problem, but perhaps it will be shocking enough to wake up a few more people.
