The NFL has made another step towards complete normalcy with regard to its COVID policies.
On Thursday, the NFL’s Management Council decided that the league will no longer conduct surveillance of how closely teams are testing its players and staff. Testing and vaccination can still happen if a team’s physician recommends it, but the league will no longer mandate it or enforce it.
COVID testing still should occur "when clinically indicated and/or at the direction of the Club Physician," and any individual experiencing symptoms must promptly report them and receive a negative test before entering the club facility.

Additionally, there will be no tier system that will determine who can and who cannot enter the facility based on vaccination status. That will be left to the discretion of each team without any highly restrictive monitoring from the league (which is what our government should have been doing all along, but I digress).

The new decision comes after a March 3 decision that originally stated that the NFL and NFLPA would end its mask-wearing, testing, and social distancing protocols that had been a part of everyday life for NFL players for the past few seasons.
Even though the NFL has completely sold out for the woke agenda in many ways, it seems to be increasing its IQ slightly by showing improvement in this area (despite the fact that it took them several season to figure it out).
