I have a bad feeling about this show. Once again, a new Star Wars TV show is being produced that seeks to focus on promoting woke politics over decent storytelling.

According to BoundingIntoComic, Star Wars Actress Fiona Shaw describes the new Star Wars show Andor as a take on “the Trumpian World.”

Shaw has clarified that this new series will be anti-Trump propaganda, following the woke Obi-Wan Kenobi. The new show plans to “explores a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.” Evidently, from this description, the show already sounds like woke propaganda.

Shaw, who will be playing a character named Maarva, already compared the bad guys in the show to Donald Trump. “Tony [Gilroy] has written a great, scurrilous [take] on the Trumpian world,” she said in an interview with Empire. “Our world is exploding in different places right now, people’s rights are disappearing, and Andor reflects that. [In the show] the Empire is taking over, and it feels like the same thing is happening in reality, too.” Even though Trump is no longer in office, Shaw still feels the need to slam the former president.  “He’s created a whole new morality,” she continued. “It’s very deep and humane – there is grief, mourning, hope, fear. It’s not just primary colours here.” Whatever “new morality” this show is creating is code for leftist politics. Does this “new morality” include intergalactic drag queens and gay aliens?

Rather than create competent stories, the folks at Disney want to shove more identity politics into all forms of entertainment.
