As the early election night results rolled, it started to look like President Donald Trump would win out over Democrat Joe Biden in Florida by a slim but solid margin.
And MSNBC lost it.
MSNBC's Nicole Wallace went bizarrely poetic while bemoaning Trump's apparently victory in the Sunshine State, lamenting "You can feel the hopes and the dreams of our viewers falling down, and you can hear liquor cabinets opening all across this great land."
Wallace fought to keep hope alive, however, quickly adding that Florida "was not a state essential to a Biden win."
