Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) stands by claims she performed several miracles as a religious faith healer, including the disappearance of tumors on a homeless woman whom she laid hands on.
“I just remember I put my hand on her, my hand just began to move,” Bush told PBS in a 2022 interview. “And the lumps that were there were no longer there. She was so happy, and she went on about her day.”
During an appearance on One America News Network, MRCTV’s Eric Scheiner discussed how the media isn’t pushing back on Bush’s claims.
“That made be the first tale I've heard about of spiritual healing and using prayer that never mentions the word God. Cori Bush mentioned herself a lot, but she never actually said the word God in that entire clip that you just played me,” Scheiner said.
“Look at the pushback, or should I say the complete lack of pushback, from PBS on this. Imagine if it was, Mike Pence or a Republican who said that they did spiritual healing. Look, at how they tried to paint Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett as part of some cult because of her religious beliefs.”

“They are always worried about what the religious right is going to do. But, you know, hey, if you're a Democrat and you're a pastor who prays and, well, we can't prove anything because it's a homeless person, we don't know where they ended up. There's nobody to question. And you pray on somebody and lay your hands on them and you never invoke God, but you're a Democrat. That's completely okay.”
Bush has made several claims of faith healing, including helping a toddler with a brain bleed to walk and curing someone of the coronavirus through over-the-phone faith healing.
Curiously, her claims are never deeply questioned by the leftist media.
