On Friday, Media Research Center (MRC) President David Bozell joined host Dana Loesch on “The Dana Show” to talk about the conflict between President Donald Trump and Department of Government Efficiency head honcho Elon Musk, along with the defunding of MPR and PBS.
When asked about the Trump/Musk kerfuffle, Bozell voiced his hope and confidence in “reconciliation” between the pair.
“It could be about policy, it could be about the NASA thing, it could be about something personal,” Bozell said. “This is obviously heated when people are taking to Twitter, but I think it’ll all die down, and they’ll have a reconciliation.”

After conversing about how people and politicians used to be able to disagree about different issues and still remain cordial and friendly, Bozell spoke of the clear hypocrisy in tactics concerning NPR and PBS attempting to save their government funding.
“This is $1.2 billion in removal of CPB’s [Corporation for Public Broadcasting] funding,” Bozell said. “Interestingly enough, Dana, they’re on record in Congressional testimony saying that government funding only accounts for less than one percent of their funding. But they’re also on record saying that they will collapse if they don’t have less than one percent of their funding. The two don’t make sense.”
