Newly announced president of the Media Research Center (MRC) David Bozell sat down with host Steve Bannon on Monday's edition of "War Room" to discuss all things MRC and the direction of the organization going forward under his leadership.
The pair spoke glowingly of the outgoing president, L. Brent Bozell III, as he looks forward to his forthcoming confirmation as the new ambassador to South Africa.
"Yeah, tough assignment for my father," Bozell said. "The president nominated him to be ambassador to South Africa. [Trump] needed a bulldog in there. My father's certainly one of those, as we all know."
Bannon referred to the MRC as "one of the foundational building blocks in conservative media" before asking Bozell where he sees the MRC heading in the future.
"I'm excited for the opportunity," Bozell told Bannon. "We're going to get a little bit faster, a little bit more real-time, and as the media evolves, we're going to evolve with it."

Bannon and Bozell went on to talk about the unstoppable emergence of artificial intelligence (AI), as well as the scandal facing the previous administration concerning the cover-up of former President Joe Biden's cognitive decline and the legacy media's complicity in it, along with how the MRC is going to tackle this monumental story.
"To the extent the MRC is a c(3) can be involved in calling for House investigations, whether we can work with the FCC, FEC, we're going to do it," Bozell said. "We're going to take that up to the absolute line every step of the way. This is one of the most egregious scandals, particularly in the media's history."
