Late-night comedian and multi-millionaire Stephen Colbert recently laughed off the record gas prices in America. Are you in on the joke?

“OK, that stings - but a clean conscience is worth a buck or two,” Colbert recently said on his program, suggesting that it's better to pay more for gas than to keep buying oil from Russia. “It’s important. I’m willing to pay $4 a gallon.”

“Hell, I’ll pay $15 a gallon because I drive a Tesla,” he added.

Do Americans agree? Or do people believe decisions by Biden administration have fueled higher oil prices? MRCTV asked people pumping gas in Alexandria, VA to fill us up with their takes on the issue. Watch the video above.
