The Media Research Center's (MRC) 35th Anniversary Gala on Wednesday night allowed us to get a few minutes to chat with a multitude of very special guests, presenters and honorees. But the emcee of the entire shindig was none other than WMAL's host of "The Chris Plante Show," Chris Plante himself.
Mr. Plante, as he always has in the past, took some time to talk with us about the direction of the conservative movement and what the MRC's work means towards the future of it.
Here's some of Plante's comments after being asked if he thought conservatives are feeling more emboldened to speak their minds about the direction of the country than ever before:
The world has gone so mad, and the country’s so mad. And the Democratic Party — which includes the news media — has just gone around the bend, they’ve gone mad. And if you have any common sense at all, you have to be looking at what’s going on in the world, and at least raising an eyebrow. Now, I do think more and more people are feeling free — or perhaps compelled — to step up and state what is obvious.
