“Where the NFL is concerned -they’re wimps and they’ve been wimps for years,” Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell said in a Facebook live chat earlier this week.
Bozell was discussing the MRC’s call to not watch NFL games on Sunday Oct. 1st as response to the league condoning its athletes kneeling during the national anthem.
“Roger Goodell would fine you for wearing the wrong colored shoes, but he stood by while a handful of the radical spoilsports have disrespected the flag of the United States of America,” Bozell said. “We just finished remembering what happened to this country on 9/11 and look where we’ve gone since then. I blame people like Roger Goodell for this, for refusing to stand up.”
“They’re intimidated by a handful of left-wing radicals. It’s time for them to get their big boy pants on.”
