Miss USA 2017 Kára McCullough went on television Wednesday to recant her conservative views and, simultaneously, insult every male on the planet.

On Sunday, McCullough told pageant judges, and viewers nationwide, that she “definitely” thinks health care is a privilege, CNSNews.com reported:

When asked whether she thought health care was a privilege or a right, Miss District of Columbia Kara McCullough, a scientist at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, said, “I’m definitely going to say it’s a privilege."

“As a government employee, I am granted health care, and I see firsthand that for one to have health care, you need to have a job. Therefore, we need to continue to cultivate this environment that we're given the opportunities to have health care as well as jobs to all the American citizens worldwide,” McCullough said.

But, after receiving “heat” from angry liberals, McCullough went on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Wednesday to contradict herself – and slur the entire male gender in the process:

McCullough: “I would like to take this moment to truly just clarify – because I am a woman, I am gonna own what I said – I am privileged to have health care, and I do believe that it should be a right. And, I hope and pray that, moving forward, that health care is a right for all worldwide.”

First of all, it’s extremely sexist and offensive to claim that being a woman somehow means she has more integrity and wiliness to stand by her comments than do men. How, exactly, does that work? And, what about a man who self-identifies as a woman – is she saying that he would then “own” what he says more than he did when he identified with his biological gender? Again, sexist.

Second, you can’t “own” a comment if you go on television to renounce it.

To be fair, she now says health care “should be” a right. There “should be” peace on Earth, but you probably shouldn’t hold your breath waiting for it.

And, even then, if you believe that all people are “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights,” a right is something you either do, or don’t, have – not something you “should” have.

Finally, to further confuse matters, McCollough then said that, while it “should” be a right, she continues to “look at health care LIKE it is a privilege”:

“I would love to clarify – really hone in on a couple of those, you know, something to let them know that, hey, I am privileged to have health care. I just want people to see where I was coming from, having a job, I have to look at health care like it is a privilege.”

Of course, all if this could've been avoided if “Miss USA” judges didn’t judge contestants based on their political views.

2017 Kára McCullough "clarifies" response.
