Who knows what's real anymore? One week you have Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey basically tweeting his support for any kind of demonstration in the wake of the death of George Floyd. The next week Frey is being booed and shamed away from a gathering of thousands of protesters in Minneapolis.
Frey was asked by a speaker at the Saturday event whether or not he would support defunding the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD), and because the protesters didn't get the response they wanted, they shunned Frey away from the event.
"Get the f**k out of here!" the speaker told Frey. "No racists! No white supremacists!"
Here's video of the interaction:
Whoa. @MayorFrey is asked “Will you commit to defunding police, yes or no?” Speaker says his re-election hinges on the answer. Couldn’t hear answer but the crowd erupts in boos, chanting “GO HOME JACOB.”

So if you're not in lockstep with protesters that think the speaker who asked Frey the question, you're apparently a "racist" and "white supremacist." Sounds like communism to me, or maybe even the two minutes of hate from George Orwell's "1984."
Here's more video of Frey exiting the event while the people boo him and shame him, "Game of Thrones" style:
“Go home,” protesters yell at Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey because he said he doesn’t want to defund the police
