'Millions of Bottles of Water' for Hurricane Survivors Sitting at Puerto Rican Airport 'Since Last Year'

Is President Trump responsible for the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, which the media keeps telling us is an embarrassment to the U.S.? Or, are the politicians in Puerto Rico to blame? Judging by this next little nugget of information, I’d put my money on the Puerto Rican politicians.

CBS News is reporting that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) said that “what could be millions of bottles of water” that were sent to Puerto Rico to aid survivors of Hurricane Maria have been sitting on a Puerto Rican runway “since last year.” That's when FEMA gave the water to Puerto Rican government officials.

The impetus for the bottled water revelation came after Abdiel Santana, a photographer for the Puerto Rican state police agency, posted a picture to Facebook of an overhead shot of the stockpile.

This should raise a lot of questions as to the extent of supplies that the Puerto Rican government has withheld from its people over the last year.

Hurricane Maria touched down in Puerto Rico on September 20, 2017 and was the third costliest U.S. tropical cyclone in history, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
