Migrants set fire to tents and threw stones at police as the police attempted to evict them from the “Jungle” migrant camp in Calais, France.

The riot squad had to be called in. The riot squad used tear gas and a water cannon to hold the migrants back from attacking them and setting more fires.

This was not a heartless eviction.

The camp where the migrants were living was riddled with rats and full of mud. The migrants were offered new containers nearby where the conditions were much more humane.

Instead of being thrilled with the better living conditions, the migrants were upset at the free accommodations because in order to move there, they would need to be fingerprinted and put in a database.

God forbid anyone who is giving you refuge with free living quarters, free food, and free space knows who you are.

Police said they arrested a British woman, a member of the No Borders activist group, who was promoting migrant attacks on police.

According to the Telegraph, non-governmental organizations have said that over 1,000 migrants are in the southern section of the camp and many will have nowhere to go.

Didn’t they choose to migrate there in the first place?
