Like many, MRCTV has worked hard to reveal the stunningly pathological ways in which Joe Biden and Washington politicians have crushed the supply chain.

From blocks on fuel movement and exploration, to jab mandates on import truckers and shippers, to manipulation of the market for ethanol, to the simple flood of government spending that rapidly has increased the money supply, the Bidenistas seem preternaturally focused on finding every way they can to damage the economic system and cause hardship for Americans.

Now, another elephant is in the room.

It’s the Conservation Reserve Program, announced last year, but only recently open to “applicants.” It’s part of the federal-global-green-climate-cult-fascist “30 by 30” or “30 x 30” scheme to block from human use at least 30% of all lands and waters in the U.S. by 2030 (which Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) tried to stop last year), and it’s ready to take the federal attack on the honest supply-and-demand system to a whole new level.

In May of 2021, the Biden administration introduced via the US Department of Agriculture the ‘conservation reserve program’, a federally funded scheme to allegedly "preserve" the environment, by, paying farmers not to farm.

This, despite the US Constitution, and despite food shortages, price increases, and supply chain problems that are causing headaches for many people.

But, as it is with the leftist attack on energy, this is not about people. It’s about power, the power to control more land, control more of the economy, and see more people bow in supplication to the socialist god of the state.

Ostensibly to battle the enemy of “Climate Change,” the Bidenistas want farmers to grow fewer crops. By their government magick, this will decrease carbon dioxide in the atmosphere – i.e. decrease a gas the record of which even Al Gore’s own Michael Mann-inspired “hockey graph” in the flick, “An Inconvenient Truthclouded, through omission of warmer temps in medieval times. That was a graph, by the way, which actually shows temperatures rising years before estimated CO2 levels pop up – something (SHOCKER!) Gore neglected to mention.

So, the Bidenistas began pushing this insane “30 x 30” plan last year, and CNN reported:

Developed by the Departments of the Interior, Agriculture and Commerce, as well as the White House Council on Environmental Quality, the report lays out initial recommendations for a decade-long initiative -- described as the ‘America the Beautiful’ campaign -- to encourage local conservation efforts.

Let’s hope more US residents shake themselves out of their Pavlovian adoration for anything painted with the mind-bending “patriotic” and “pride in America” pigments. Politicians long have used those emotion-triggers to sucker people and sneak past them pure tyranny.

CNN also noted at the time:

Thursday's announcement follows President Joe Biden's climate executive order issued in late January, which instructed the federal agencies to submit a report to the National Climate Task Force with recommendations for achieving the goal of ‘conserving at least 30% of our lands and waters by 2030.’

And, at the time, some of CNN’s more honest leftist associates in the pop media openly praised the idea. One such outlet was The Counter, whose H. Claire Brown wrote:

The Biden administration announced on Wednesday that it would expand a program that pays farmers to leave land fallow, part of a broader, government-wide effort to cut greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030. The new initiative will incentivize farmers to take land out of production by raising rental rates and incentive payments.

By “rental” and “incentive payments” they mean your money and (thanks to federal debt) that which your kids will earn, kindly handed out by the feds.

The Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) was created in 1985 to incentivize landowners to leave some of their marginal land unplanted, a plan meant to protect the environment by reducing agricultural runoff into streams and rivers, preserving wildlife habitats, and preventing erosion. Today, the Department of Agriculture (USDA) ‘rents’ about 21 million acres of farmland from landowners, typically for 10 years at a time…

Not a bit of which is constitutional.

Supposedly the rules for how this corrupt political system operates, the US Constitution only permits the feds to own/control three forms of land: Washington DC, military garrisons, and territories.

All other land is to be owned or run by private parties or the states and their subdivisions according to their constitutions. And we must remember that none of us signed those constitutions or the US Constitution. They simply are the rules by which the politicians promise to abide.

Like a gang of mobsters, Biden's Administration is attacking the peaceful systems we create to interact with one another and reveal our skills and preferences. They already are going after the division of labor that even cavemen developed to better their lives (seeing weak people stay home to work on things like hides, while the strong went on the hunt).

Now, Biden is taking the insane idea pushed by duplicitous psychopaths like FDR to literally pay farmers to destroy crops – a policy that the George W Bush Administration repeated with things like plums, paying plum growers to destroy plum trees – and throwing it in our faces…

…like the dirt that they want farmers to leave fallow.

Few people know that this Biden plan is operational. Already, one phase of the signup for graft occurred between January 31 and March 11. And the new phase, for grasslands (i.e. grazing for cattle, a living crop which already is expected to be in low supply come this fall) runs from April 4 to May 13.

At this very moment, we have fertilizer shortages. We have supply chain problems. We have rashes of fires at food processing plants. We have skyrocketing energy prices. As radio host David Knight said on Friday, April 29:

Cheap energy… It’s also a life-expectancy issue. If you look at the places around the world where they’ve not had cheap energy, you see what it’s resulted in is people dying with a much shorter lifespan.

Productive agriculture helps people live better and live longer. And productive agriculture requires fuel, land, fertilizer (also now hard to get, thanks to Biden policies), and sundry other inputs.

The more pressure the government puts on available land, available fuel, and all the other ingredients needed to see the food supply flourish, the more people will suffer.

This is real, and it will get worse, thanks to the madness of Washington, DC.
