Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore has always hated Donald Trump - and now that his presidency is over, Moore’s reacting as if a fascist dictator’s regime had ended.

Moore tweeted a post comparing Trump’s departure from the White House to Italian Dictator Benito Mussolini’s execution (his body was subsequently hung up in front of a gas station) and the surrender of Confederate General Robert E. Lee at Appomattox at the end of the Civil War. Supposedly, the end of Trump’s presidency means the end of fascism and racism in America.

Just released by the White House. Should be preserved like other great final moments of fascism and racism — such as Lee surrendering to Grant, Benito hanging out in Rome, and the night Georgia decided they’d rather have a Black man and a Jew representing them in the Senate. pic.twitter.com/FQwLP9S2iq

For a fascist dictator, Trump is surprisingly willing to relinquish his power to Biden following a public election.

Moore also holds Trump fans in contempt as well, believing that a majority of them would die from COVID-19 due to their “love of and loyalty to Trump.”
