MSNBC had the audacity to tweet out a nutty op-ed celebrating COVID-19 and downplaying the threat of inflation with the caption: “Why the inflation we’re seeing now is a good thing.” Yikes. After significant backlash on Twitter, MSNBC deleted the tweet.
ABC, CBS and NBC morning news shows censored one of the most alarming inflation reports released this year. On Wednesday morning The Bureau of Labor Statistics released another damning report showing the Consumer Price Index (CPI) skyrocketed, resulting in the biggest inflation surge in more than 30 years. The nets didn’t feel it was newsworthy enough to add to their morning coverage.
If you happen to be financially strangled by spiking inflation, take heed to the advice proffered by Univision’s midday Noticiero Digital during a report on the dismal Consumer Price Index numbers: deal with inflation and refrain from splurging on things you don’t need, like coffee or driving your car to work. Just suck it up for Biden, would you?
