Media Misinformation: CBS Deletes Tweet Claiming Rittenhouse Testified He 'Murdered Two Men'

The establishment media love to lie — or at the very least stretch the truth. When they’re caught or called out for their irresponsible reporting, they either issue a correction after the news days after reporting their lies or they delete the offending social media posts in hopes that people will simply forget their ignorance.

CBS News, through their CBS Mornings Twitter account, tweeted out video of Kyle Rittenhouse’s testimony during his trial last Thursday. But that’s not the problem.

Included in the caption of the tweet, the outlet stated Rittenhouse testified that he “told the jury he murdered two men.”

For those of you playing the home game, Rittenhouse never testified that he “murdered two men.”

The Twitterverse ripped CBS a new one to the point that CBS deleted the tweet.

However, because the internet is forever, Twitter users took screenshots of the tweet before it was taken down.

We know that the establishment media is irresponsible at best and flat out liars at worst. That’s not really up for debate anymore. What is up for debate is why Twitter didn’t see the tweet as “misinformation” or “disinformation” before CBS received so much backlash that they deleted the tweet in question.

The establishment media, and social media for the excuses they give to justify their biased censorship, are not to be trusted.
