The media showed their compassion for President Trump’s COVID diagnosis, in a rare moment of honesty from CNN PrimeTime host Chris “Fredo” Cuomo thanked God because he didn’t need to “feign” concern about President Trump’s life following his discharge from Walter Reed medical center.
After President Trump returned to the White House on Monday evening, MSNBC and CNN hosts and guests alike got their Democratic talking points aligned to compare Trump's appearance on the Truman Balcony to Benito Mussolini.
CBS was unamused Wednesday night, tearing into Vice President Mike Pence as a disaster and lacking respect for Senator Kamala Harris by interrupting her during their vice presidential debate. Democratic donor, Obama family friend and CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King claimed the Vice President had a “fly of color” on his head during an exchange on racism. King also discussed what she thought the fly would say if it could talk, because that's normal.
ON MSNBC, anti-Trump strategist Steve Schmidt noted that the fly was “the mark of the devil” in his efforts to slam Pence.
