Media Claim Racism Is The Reason For Reopen Protests

In this week’s Wacky Moments of Liberal Expression:

MSNBC host Joy Reid led an all-liberal panel which portrayed #reopen protesters as racists who are partially motivated by wishing to see more minorities die from the virus.

All three of the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) were in harmony as the liberal choir sang a song decrying Trump’s move to have a temporary stay on immigration as a “hardline” policy and a racist “dog whistle” for his base.

CBS White House correspondent Weijia Jiang continued her crusade to take down President Trump and politicize the Coronavirus crisis in the process. She flaunted her animus again on Monday when she parroted words from an unnamed Democratic aide who said Trump was “insane and criminal.”

Sure, tens of thousands of Americans have died, and the economy is in shambles due to Coronavirus. But for MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace there's a "silver lining" to all the death and misery: Trump's alleged "lies" and sins" are hurting him politically.

MSNBC also thinks the Coronavirus pandemic is a great time to push for a Universal Basic Income. Host Ali Velshi used COVID-19 as an opportunity to push for Universal Basic Income for all Americans. Touting it as a “big idea,” Velshi largely dismissed the critics and glossed over cost.
