Ah, Maxine Waters. She’s kind of like that leaky 50-year-old pipe under your kitchen sink that constantly oozes nasty stuff, and you’ve paid the plumber to fix it like four times but it just won’t stop dripping, and it’s making a nasty little moldy spot next to your household cleaners and paper towels and now everything stinks. That’s Maxine Waters.
Belting her latest single “How To Lose Elections and Alienate People,” Waters actually shouted herself hoarse this week ranting incoherently about President Trump and vowing to "get rid of him." Seriously, that was pretty much the gist.
“He cannot continue to break up this country and to divide us and to create the kind of catastrophe that he is doing!” she screamed from a Santa Monica pier. (It’s not immediately clear whether the aforementioned “catastrophe” is our plummeting unemployment rates, rising wages, or the $1,000 bonuses thousands of Americans just got thanks to Trump’s tax plan, but sure. Go with that Maxine.)
She also wants Americans to know that the recently released Nunes memo alleging rampant anti-Trump targeting efforts and shady FISA surveillance warrants are “nothing” and that you should just brush it off, because she said so.
“It said nothing. It’s just another lie. Don’t even think about it!”
