Some politicians are just straight up stupid. So it should come as no surprise that something “super intelligent” came out of the mouth of ancient Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.).

This woman…actually said…that the images of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents on horseback attempting to stop Haitian immigrants from entering the U.S. illegally…”was worse than what we witnessed in slavery.”

Look, I know Waters is older than — well, something that’s really old. But, she didn’t witness a damn thing during slavery, because even she wasn’t alive when slavery in the U.S. ended.

“What the hell are we doing here?!” Waters exclaimed before descending into stupidity. “What we witnessed takes us back hundreds of years. What we witnessed was worse than what we witnessed in slavery.”

Yeah, that’s something she actually said. Still can’t believe it. Well, there’s video of her saying it, as well.

At least Waters correctly pointed out that the border patrol agents on horseback were using their reins, but they weren’t whipping the immigrants. The agents were whipping the horse in order to change direction.

Politicians and the media have and will continue to use the “whipping” narrative to push some kind of racism in order to call for completely abandoning our border. Don’t think so? Just wait. Waters just did it with her asinine comments.
