Maxine Waters Lumps Ben Carson In With White Nationalists and the KKK

One has to wonder at times how some of these radically liberal politicians graduated high school, let alone got elected to office.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) has opened her mouth once again, channeling her inner Harry Reid only to promptly insert her both her feet into her gaping wordhole.

Waters was making a speech before the Los Angeles Community Review Board in which she talked about housing foreclosures in the area while grouping together right wing nationalists, the KKK, President Trump, Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin and — wait for it — Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Ben Carson.

Here is what Waters had to say:

Mr. Mnuchin, who is the Treasury Secretary, who is responsible for 36,000 foreclosures in this area, is now the Secretary of the Treasury?! Standing next to him yesterday -- or the day before yesterday, I’m getting these days mixed up, there’s so much going on -- while the president was defending the white-wing nationalists and the KKK and all of those alt-right groups that were basically out there in Virginia literally beating and marching and ranting about Jews and black people, etc., etc.

But, this is what this Cabinet looks like, where we talking about Mnuchin or Ben Carson. He’s got to come before my committee. If you think ‘reclaiming my time’ that I did with Mnuchin, you wait till Ben Carson comes.

Waters' reference to Carson was met with resounding applause. At least we know she’s wasn’t the only loon in that room.

Here is the video of Waters' comments:

Carson’s success story of going from a poor, black kid growing up in the streets of Detroit to becoming one of the best pediatric neurosurgeons in the world is well known. But apparently for Waters, the fact that Carson is a conservative is enough to make him tantamount to white nationalists.

Waters has been in the news lately for repeatedly making asinine comments stating things such as wanting to bow down and meet North Korean demands so that the U.S. can avoid war.

One question: Are members of Congress subject to yearly psych evaluations? It’s a fair question considering the division and hate coming out of the mouths of some its more radical members, especially Waters. To group a successful conservative black man in with white supremacists based solely on his political affiliation is not only irresponsible, but slanderous.
