During a recent hearing, Virginia Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears made State Sen. Danica Roem, a man who claims to be a woman, storm out of the room in anger.
Her scandalous statement? Calling him “sir.”

"I am not here to upset anyone. I am here to do the job that the people of Virginia have called me to do," she said, speaking about the incident after Senate Democrats called two recesses to fret over someone calling a man, "sir".
However, Earle-Sears statement was not enough for activist Patricia Lynn Stevens, who said, “I don't think that it is fair that it is used as an excuse almost for misgendering someone, especially the only trans woman in our Virginia elected staff.”
Actually, Patricia, Danica Roem was correctly gendered.
Sorry if facts make Danica leave the room, rather than face them.
