Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio and Infowars’ Alex Jones got into a heated altercation in the halls on Congress Wednesday as Rubio attempted to answer reporters’ questions on social media censorship and Russian election meddling.

The several-minute back-and-forth, streamed live on Twitter by the Gateway Pundit’s Cassandra Fairbanks, captured the Florida senator asking Jones not to touch him while Jones accused him of being a “frat boy” and a “little gangster thug.”

“I don’t want to get arrested,” Jones can be heard saying in the video.

“You’re not gonna get arrested man, I’ll take care of you myself,” Rubio shot back.

Jones continually interrupted reporters trying to ask Rubio questions about Russian election meddling and social media censorship of free speech, claiming that the “Democrats are raping Republicans” and claiming social media platforms were censoring his website Infowars.

Rubio, on the other hand, repeatedly denied knowing who Jones was before finally walking away, telling reporters, "You guys can talk to this clown."

According to his own website, Jones is in D.C. to confront social media gurus after a congressional hearing Wednesday on Russian election meddling via social media, which included testimony from Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. Jones’ website, perhaps best known for its wacky conspiracy theories, has been removed from YouTube, Facebook, Apple and Spotify. Twitter suspended Jones for 7 days for violating the platform’s terms of service.
