Marching Band Fined for Formation Resembling a Penis

The Kansas State Marching Band has been fined $5,000 after its marching band appeared to shape itself into the form of a giant penis that was directed at the mouth of a formation of their rival Mascot, the Kansas Jayhawk.

The incident occurred during the halftime show of a recent football game. In addition to the fine, the school's band director will miss the game against the Jayhawks on November 28th and university officials will now pre-approve all of the school's halftime shows. The band director, Frank Tracz, insists that the formation was not intended to look like male genitalia, but was supposed to be a ship from Star Trek that was shooting at the Jayhawk.

And, this isn't the first time Kansas State has gotten into mascot-related trouble. Back in 2012, the school's Wildcat mascot merely tackled a Kansas Jayhawk in an on-field routine - but, then he got caught on video kicking a little kid in the head.

So, starship or sleazy stunt? We'll let you be the judge.
