The Jacksonville, Florida Sheriff's Office is searching for those responsible for hanging a mannequin wearing a New York Police Department uniform and a pig mask from a highway overpass.
The call came in as a possible suicide by hanging on the overpass on I-95 on Saturday.
Crime scene detectives are processing the scene and the mannequin for DNA.
"The incident that occurred this morning depicting the mock lynching of a mannequin dressed in what appeared to be the uniform of a law enforcement officer is extremely disturbing," Sheriff Mike Williams said in a statement.
