A 28 year-old man was arrested Tuesday night after admitting to hurling two tomatoes at Donald Trump during a speech in Iowa. This old-fashioned way of expressing displeasure with someone's performance has long been viewed as passe. But, it didn't seem to matter to Andrew Joseph Alemao who was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct. He could face a fine of up to $625 or 30 days in prison if convicted.
Neither of the tomatoes hit Trump, but the event was interrupted several times by protesters who were not carrying produce.
