A man in Chicago is facing the law as well as severe injuries after accidentally shooting himself in the penis while attempting to rob a hot dog stand, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Terrion Pouncy, 19, held up two people working at the Maxwell street Express at gunpoint early Monday morning, demanding that the two give him their wallets and cash from the register. Midway through the robbery, one of the employees dropped the money on the ground.
As Pouncy reached for the cash on the floor and began his escape, the gun, which was secured in his waist, accidentally went off. Unfortunately for Pouncy, the gun fired right into his penis and limited his ability to get away.
Police found Pouncy slumped over the steps of a home across the street from the restaurant, apparently consumed by the pain of his injury from his .38-caliber pistol. Pouncy was taken to the hospital and police were able to match his bloodied underwear with the pattern on the fabric from a surveillance video.
Maybe Pouncy should've invested in a holster.
