This was something that every single person there in the Saturday Night Live crew, cast, production members, and maybe even Lorne Michaels knew was going to happen. But yet they continued on to disparage a man who lost his eye in the service of this great nation.

Maybe it is because someone like a Dan Crenshaw who is now running for United States Congress here in the state of Texas is just evidence that there are things that Pete Davidson can't live up to and so he will want to attack it.

It's absolutely repulsive. It's appalling. It's disgusting. It's despicable.

The mentality of a group of people that would attack and disparage combat wounded veterans are a political mentality that should never be in charge of these great United States of America.

The SNL segment featured Davidson mocking multiple Republican politicians for their looks. The comedian stated he’d “realized there are some pretty gross people running for office this year”. When a picture of Crenshaw was put on the screen, co-star Michael Che blurted out: “Oh, come on, man!”

“Hold on,” Davidson told him. “You may be surprised to hear he's a congressional candidate from Texas and not a hitman in a porno movie,” he ridiculed Crenshaw to the uproarious laughter of the liberal crowd. “I'm sorry, I know he lost his eye in war or whatever.”
