'Lone Survivor' Marcus Luttrell Warns Chris Kyle’s Killer About Prison

"Lone Survivor" Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell had the following words to say about the man convicted of murdering a fellow serviceman and friend, Chris Kyle.

Eddie Ray Routh was sentenced last night to life in prison after it was deemed he did not suffer from post traumatic stress disorder.

Chad Littlefield was the other man who died at that shooting range that fateful day. Chad spent much of his time reaching out to veterans who needed help and his killer said he didn't even know his name.

In the courtroom, Chad's brother Jerry Richardson said he knew the killer in high-school and told the jury that the insanity plea was "all an act."

Mr. Richardson then had these powerful words to say to his brother's murderer:

“You wanted to be a Marine, a real man, but you destroyed the opportunity by committing a senseless act”  “You have put yourself in a world you will never escape.”

“You took the lives of two heroes, men that tried to be a friend to you, and you became an American disgrace.”

Chad's father Don delivered this final message to his son's killer:

“Chad had a quiet nature and was a good listener. He cared about people, and he gave you his time because he felt like you needed it, Now you will have the rest of your wasted life to remember his name."
