The famous Bishopville, South Carolina Lizard Man has made a new appearance. A woman named Sarah was leaving church when she apparently saw the seven-foot beast with red eyes running along a nearby tree line.

This is what she saw:

Sarah, was quoted as saying, "My hand to God, I am not making this up! So excited!" She caught the elusive reptile only a mile away from Scape Ore Swamp, where another sighting took place last May.

Inspired by the photo, an unidentified man released video footage "proving" the existence of the Lizard Man. "I saw your lizard man story and it's given me the courage to send you a video I took in early May," the man wrote. "Though my wife believes me that it's real, she said she would be embarrassed that everyone would think I was a loon so I kept it a secret."

Thankfully, the man's courage helped bring this important story to light. The world needs to know. Here is the video he shot:

There is not more to the video because the Lizard Man allegedly looked towards the cameraman, may or may not have winked, and caused him to run out of the swamp as fast as possible.

The Lizard Man legend has been a local folk lore since 1988. A seventeen year old boy was changing a tire at 2:00 AM near Scape Ore Swamp when the beast allegedly charged him. The Lizard Man jumped on the roof of the car as Davis tried to escape. There were scratch marks on the roof and one of the side mirrors had been damaged.

Other reports have detailed teeth marks and damage done to cars. However, these are the first actual eye witness accounts in over a decade, giving hope to the Lizard Man cult phenomenon.
