Liberals who spent the better part of the week ranting against the Trump administration for not having enough beds for detained migrant children are now reportedly boycotting the popular online furniture company Wayfair…
…for providing beds for detained migrant children.
In a move that makes about as much sense as cutting off one’s nose to spite your face, progressives are praising a contingent of some 550 Wayfair employees who said they’re planning to walk off the job Wednesday afternoon in protest of their company’s arrangement with the federal government to provide beds for border facilities.
tl;dr - Wayfair sold beds to furnish border camps; 547 employees signed a petition to ask that we cease all business with border camps; CEO said no —>employees are walking out tmrw at 1:30pm. We ask that Wayfair donate all profits made from the sale to RAICES #WayfairWalkout

Wayfair CEO Niraj Shah has so far reportedly refused disgruntled workers’ request to halt an order for $200,000 worth of bedroom furniture to a government contractor that supplies the facilities, saying in a statement, “We believe it is our business to sell to any customer who is acting within the laws of the countries within which we operate.” His stance has prompted many social media users to declare they won't be shopping at Wayfair until the company changes its plans to fund Trump's alleged "concentration camps."
The strike-turned-boycott is also being encouraged by many far-left progressive politicians and talking heads, including N.Y. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who tweeted:
Wayfair workers couldn’t stomach they were making beds to cage children.

They asked the company to stop. CEO said no.
Tomorrow, they‘re walking out.
This is what solidarity looks like - a reminder that everyday people have real power, as long as we’re brave enough to use it. https://t.co/667abeLDTG
Ironically, many liberals in favor of shutting down Wayfair’s contract to provide beds for migrant children are the same ones complaining of “inhumane” conditions in border detention facilities – including children being forced to sleep on concrete floors because they don’t have...well, beds.
But hey, if Wayfair finally backs down, perhaps these concerned citizens should find out who supplies border centers with food and attack them, too. Maybe turn off the water.
You know, for the kids.
