The photo, posted to Beto’s Instagram and sandwiched in between photos of his homemade guacamole and other random junk you don’t care about, is allegedly turning on liberals who’re still upset that their favorite suburban dad lost to Ted Cruz.

This disturbing new trend adds yet another inexplicable and creepy layer to the strange phenomenon that is Beto O'Rourke, a random gray-haired white guy who managed to capture the hearts of the progressive left by shakily skateboarding around Whataburger parking lots, dropping copious f-bombs on the campaign trail and inspiring slews of really weird fan videos.
Now look, I’m not saying you can’t be a huge fan of your favorite politician. But if you wind up with a case of the down-low tingles over a middle-aged failed candidate slicing up a London broil posted to a photo app made for college kids, perhaps it’s time to seek help.
