Conservative writer and Fox News pundit Laura Ingraham found herself in the crosshairs of radical left-wing activism after insensitively mocking Parkland student David Hogg for not getting into any of his top choice colleges.
In response to Hogg’s immediate call for a national boycott of Laura’s advertisers (and his open refusal to accept her public apology), lefty trolls have launched an all-out assault on Ingraham via social media. There’s just one problem...
...many of them are targeting the wrong person.
Meet Lauren Ingram, an Australian feminist and travel writer who says she’s been the target of thousands of online attacks from leftists who’ve mistaken her for the Fox News host of (almost) the same name. And apparently, it's not the first time this mix-up has happened.
So it looks like Laura Ingraham has said something horrible overnight because I’ve woken up to a bunch of abusive mentions not intended for me once again

Somehow people are trying to blame this on @davidhogg111. He DID NOT do anything to cause this, Ingraham did with her disgusting comments. I stand with David and the other survivors of the Parkland school shooting. I am in awe of everything they do.

Despite the fact that Ingram is actually on the Parkland student’s side and isn’t a fan of guns by any stretch, that hasn’t stopped leftists from harassing her before even bothering to make sure they had the right person.
And there are literally thousands more where those came from.
Ingram said some people have even blamed her for not going underground or changing her own name to avoid confusion.
In response to the Ingraham confusion, people have seriously suggested that I do the following things to stop it:

1) delete my account
2) dye my hair so it’s not blonde
3) just “suck it up” pretend to be Ingraham and apologise
4) legally change my ACTUAL name
But in the world of trial by mob, it seems getting the facts right takes a backseat to aimlessly spewing vitriol – no matter who it ends up hitting.
