Leftist Groups Trolling GOP with Mobile Billboards that Follow Them Home for Thanksgiving

House Republicans are being followed home for the Thanksgiving holiday by trucks with billboards on them as part of a trolling campaign by leftist groups crying impeachment.

As The Hill reports, “Progressive groups MoveOn and Need to Impeach commissioned the billboard trucks to visit eight districts across seven states from Monday through Wednesday. The eight targeted Republicans include either retiring members, members who have split from President Trump in the past, or vulnerable members in more moderate districts.”

Targeted Republicans include Reps. Elise Stefanik (N.Y.), Brian Fitzpatrick (Pa.), Scott Perry (Pa.), Mark Amodei (Nev.), Francis Rooney (Fla.), Will Hurd (Tex.), and Chip Roy (Tex.).

MoveOn and Need to Impeach in a joint statement demanded “that these members of Congress stop covering for Donald Trump’s abuses of power” and move to impeach the President.

Each of the billboards have an image of President Trump on the left-hand side and the respective Republican being targeted on the right with the words, “Tell [Rep. so-and-so]: Defend Democracy. Impeach Trump.”

The back of the trucks read, “Impeach and Remove.”

They are still rolling out each individual truck.

MoveOn is also encouraging people to “talk to your family about impeachment this Thanksgiving”—as if the circus this past week wasn’t enough.
